Make a plan to vote for Amanda Sandoval for Mayor on February 11th

MEET AMANDA SANDOVAL

Growing up in Bethany, Amanda Sandoval has dedicated her life to fostering community growth. Her commitment to public service is evident through her work as a City Councilor for Bethany, where she championed infrastructure improvements, accessibility initiatives, and equitable representation.
Amanda Sandoval holds a Bachelors in Political Science from Oklahoma State University and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. Amanda is deeply involved in non-profit boards, including serving as Board President of La Luz Org and as a Board Member for the Neighborhood Alliance.
Currently, Amanda balances multiple roles, working as a Realtor and a Registered Courtroom Interpreter in the Oklahoma Court System. Her passion for education and empowerment extends beyond her professional life, as she actively participates in her church and leadership programs like the Jordan-Huerta Leadership Program and the Junior League of Oklahoma City.
Amanda and her husband are proud to raise their son in the community she grew up in, and she remains dedicated to shaping a brighter future for Bethany by addressing the needs of its growing population and enhancing local partnerships.

ISSUES

Build Stronger Community

Rapid Development in west OKC and Yukon has made Bethany a desirable location for first time home buyers. Amanda is focused on building a safe and welcoming community that meets the needs of current residents and new families. Amanda will continue the work she started as a City Councilor to build a community everyone is proud to call home.

Focus of the Future of Bethany

As we continue to see a growth in young families choosing to call Bethany home, we need leadership who is committed to the next generation. As a mother, Amanda knows firsthand the needs of our kids and young families. Amanda is focused on cleaning up and improving our parks, investing in public safety, supporting our fire and police services, and focusing on critical infrastructure needs.

Meet the Basic Needs of Residents

As Amanda has been visiting with neighbors, she continues to hear the same concerns: improve our trash service and lower our water bills. As Mayor, Amanda will lead efforts to increase the number of big trash pick-up days, implement recycling programs in the city, and cut wasteful spending to help lower water bills.

Transparent and Accountable Decision Making

Amanda recognizes the next Mayor of Bethany will face the challenge of continuing to build trust with the citizens. Bethany needs a leader who will work for the people, be willing to ask the tough questions, and seek out long-term solutions to problems that continue to impact Bethany. Amanda will listen to the needs of the residents and expand efforts to include concerned citizens in the decision making process.

Secure Bethany's Financial Future

Amanda will focus on supporting existing businesses and redeveloping vacant buildings through economic programs to help keep tax dollars in Bethany. We've seen Bethany grocery stores, gas stations, and small businesses forced to close their doors. We need leadership ready to work with community stakeholders to tackle the tough issues small businesses face today.
